Pacific Birds Habitat Joint Venture (PBHJV) is featured in BirdLife International’s Global Flyways video series! This series highlights the extraordinary journeys of migratory birds and the global efforts to protect the interconnected chain of habitats they rely upon. Each video focuses on a different conservation project from across the globe to illustrate both what’s at risk and what’s possible.
Pacific Birds worked with BirdLife International to create films that highlight two of the conservation partnerships it has convened: the Klamath Siskiyou Oak Network and the Cowichan Estuary Restoration Project. Pacific Birds serves as a catalyst for bird conservation by helping local partners connect their on-the-ground projects with major national and international bird initiatives. By developing collective strategies, enhancing regional coordination, and leveraging funding, Pacific Birds is accelerating conservation across the northern portion of the Pacific Flyway.
